Pre-Assembled Package Unit The Jayhawk Hoist for the FC-170 comes to you fully assembled and ready to mount. It is completely self-contained, including hydraulic power unit, compact heavy duty cylinder, structural steel sub-frame, full length steel underbody supports, dual controls, mounting parts and a filled oil resevoir. Dual Push Button Controls The hydraulic pump, powered by electric motor, is activated by puch buttons in the cab and at the rear of truck. These puch buttons, plus release valve in cab, give instant control with the truck in motion or at a standstill, motor on or off. The Jayhawk 170 payload capacity is four tons and it operates on Jeeps equipped with either 6 or 12 volt electrical systems. No step up is necessary in the generator or voltage regulator and battery warranties remain in full effect.

The Jayhawk 170 Telescopic Truck Hoist is tailor made only for the Willys "Jeep" FC-170. It is designed, not as a modification of a hoist built to fit many trucks, but is specially engineered for one job...to make the FC-170 a highly efficient dump truck. As such it is the ultimate in simplicity of design, easy mounting, instant push button control and low cost.
Easier, Less Costly to Mount No troublesome truck chassis modifications are necessary in mounting the Jayhawk Hoist under either pick-up or platform type bodies. Bolts only are used to attach the sub-frame to the chassis and simple welds and bolts secure the sills to the underbody. Installation of controls and gas tank brackets complete the job. Full instructions are included with each hoist and mounting time should not exceed six man hours.
