The following information is credited to Willys World, vol. 20, no. 5, Sep-Oct 1993. It is based on Willys Motors Inc, Parts and Accessories Bulletin No. D-18, "Introduction of Part No. 953049 Kit, 'Jeep' Insignia Stencils." It is provided to help the Forward Control owner determine the proper lettering for his/her project. Original stencils were cut from oiled stencil board and could be re-used several times. As far as I know stencils are generally unavailable, however a set of decals is available for the FC-150 tailgate. I recieved photocopies of stencils some years ago from Carl Walck and thought I would make some usable ones out of card stock.
