Here's the extended dashboard and new gauges. This dashboard will extend well into the passenger side of the FCs cab. |
Here are the latest pictures which Pete sent in May 2004 along with a list of modifications.

1. 1989 Chevy frame/suspension shortened 4.5 feet to match the Jeep 103" wheelbase.
2. 350 cu. in. small block Chevy V8 with 700-R4 automatic transmission and Ratchet shifter.
3. Running boards and fenders fabricated to cover the tires and frame ( 9 inch wider stance).
4. Front and Rear bumpers fabricated. ( Rear bumper designed to cover the spare tire under the bed.)

5. Dual radiators with electric fans installed to increase airflow around the engine packed into the "doghouse" between the seats.
6. Dash extended across cab to hide the aftermarket AC unit and mount the new gauge cluster on.
7. Overhead console built to house Satelite Radio (Pioneer) sound system.
8. Black/Yellow upholstery on seats and headliner. ( Yellow flames on headliner).
9. Door handles shaved-----electronic entry.

10. Door panels, floorboard, bumpers, and running boards covered in 1/8" polished aluminum diamond plate.
11. Tailgate chains removed and replaced with old cadillac seat belt latches welded inside bed. (clean looking!)
12. Wheels: 20 x 10 MB Precise with custom painted accents to match truck. Tires: P275/55R-20 Falken Ziex S/TZ-01.
13. Paint: 2002 Thunderbird Inspiration Yellow, with silver ghost flames with red tips. Black painted in bedliner.
14 Grant removable steering Wheel with security locking cap.
